Join us for an afternoon of camaraderie and great food catered by Taproot Cider House and held at Gilbert Lodge, 6800 Long Lake Road, Traverse City.

The luncheon speaker will be Nancy Popa, President of the Lake Leelanau Lake Association.  Her presentation is titled, "Shorelines at the Edge:  Understanding their Importance and Sustainable Management".  She will discuss best practices in shoreline protection including bioengineering, using native plants as vegetative buffers and storm water management.
